I play video games with a casual schedule, but with the skill, interest, and history of a hardcore gamer. I've been an undying Nintendo devotee since I could hold a controller, and though I own hardware from other companies, my preference will always be games that have a sense of whimsy (as Nintendo games are want to. The "Legend of Zelda" series is, and probably always will remain, my favorite.
I was introduced to Dungeons & Dragons back in high school, right about the time that 3rd Edition was getting it's semi-revision. Since then, I have become well versed in the ins and outs of the game, occassionally playing, and often DMing (my current game has been running almost as long as I've been playing). I've recently started developing my own campaign setting, but have yet to actually run a game in it.
I watch a lot of movies and TV; don't misinterpret, I'm not the kind of person who just sits, inert, flipping through channels while I strain my neck to lick the potato chips crumbs off of my man-boobs. I find that having background noise while I'm doing certain things (homework, writing for my campaign, etc) helps me to focus better, and has the added bonus of keeping me pretty well-versed, culturally.
I am officially a member of no less than two English handbell choirs, one of which has performed at Carnegie Hall. I'm known to substitute in a handful of others, and I also sing and have been known to play the cello and French horn.
I genuinely feel like I could list beer as one of my hobbies, since I do make a point of trying new brews when I can, and enjoying the familiar when I can't. Of course, I guess that would make eating a hobby too, seeing as how I could say the same things about food.
I should probably make a plug for my art in here, but I'm not sure if it counts as a hobby any more, as I'm going to school for it, and it will probably be my livelyhood in the future...

I enjoy a great many films, so I can't really say I have a favorite genre. I guess I could just say I like "good" movies? Well made...I don't know...
I'm not a big reader, though I respect the media of written word very much. I love stories, but it takes something very special in a book to really grab my attention. Perhaps it's just because it takes so long and is so difficult to do while doing other things.
Dexter is hand down my favorite television program, and it's pretty much the only drama I watch. Otherwise, it's mostly comedy; Archer, Arrested Development, Strangers with Candy, The Venture Brothers, etc. Also, Firefly.
As I mentioned before, the "Legend of Zelda" series is my favorite game series, but I enjoy most first-party Nintendo series, games that carry that sort of spirit (Super Meat Boy? I'm looking at you). I still train pokémon, daily, and I'm currently playing through all the Mario games with a friend of mine. I'm not a stranger to more recent games, like Halo or Call of Duty, and I'm occassionally lassoed into playing them with my friends, but left to my own devices, I'll take Samus over Sam Fisher any day.
Food is one of those things that I really enjoy---ironic, perhaps, considering just how little I eat. I'm a one square meal a day guy, but good food is something I'm always in the mood for.

As far as my photo goes...I do dress that way, every day. I generally choose not to classify myself as a Steampunker, Neo-Victorian, or really any particular niche, but I'm willing to admit that as far as mainstream culture is concerned, I probably am a decidedly conservative Steampunker. Really though, I just dress that way because I like it, and I can rock a bowler.

I like dead baby jokes.
